Enrolled in C.U. Shah Commerce College in 1986 where he took part in college elections and won the post of C.R.
Was elected the General Secretary in the third year of his bachelor’s degree, and also became a Senate Member of Gujarat University.
Perused L.L.B at M. N. Law College where he was elected as a representative for three years consecutively.
Got elected as a member of Student Welfare Fund in Gujarat University.
Attained a Diploma in Journalism, from Nav Gujarat College and perused his L.L.M. from Sardar Patel Law College and started practicing law.
He was appointed as the Chief Secretary of Yuva Jantadal by Chief of Jantadal (Gujarat), honorable late Shri. Chimanbhai Patel at the age of 19 years.
He visited several districts in order to strengthen the Yuva Jantadal (Gujarat) and in 1990, when Jantadal (Gujarat) formed the government in Gujarat, he was appointed the Director of Gujarat State Youth Board.
In order to fulfill the promise made by him in the election manifesto, he travelled 39 days, with the Narmada Jyot and Narmada Kumbh, across Gujarat.
He worked as a convener in Sardar Sena in order to complete the Narmada Yojana.
When the Jantadal (Gujarat) was dissolved and merged with Congress, he became an integral part of the Congress Party.
Was appointed the Director of Gujarat State Youth Board, Gandhinagar, Department of Youth Culture and Sports, Government of Gujarat (1990-1995).
In 2002, he fought the Gujarat Assembly elections as the candidate of Indian National Congress(INC) in Sarkhej Vidhansabha division – 64 and received overwhelming response from the people.
In a year 2005-2006, got selected as Vice Chairman of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan where he undertook various projects to empower the youth.
Worked hand in hand with young parliamentarian Shri. Bharatsinh Solanki, Minister of Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee in order to strengthen Gujarat Congress in five different towns (Ambaji, Dakor, Kevadiya Colony, DevagadhBariya and Junagadh).
Became Director of Gandhinagar Nagarik Co-operative Bank Ltd., Gandhinagar at the age of 28 years and has now become the Vice Chairman of the bank.
He was one of the Spokesperson of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee and a Senate Member (registered law faculty) in Gujarat University.
He was currently one of the Spokesperson of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee.
