Political Journey

Enrolled in C.U. Shah Commerce College in 1986 where he took part in college elections and won the post of C.R. Was elected the General Secretary in the third year of his bachelor’s degree, and also became a Senate Member of Gujarat University.

Personal

Born to a humble agricultural family in Adalaj, Himanshu’s concern for societal issues and education is innate. His father, Late Vitthalbhai Patel, was also an advocate, and this was a major factor that influenced Himanshu towards pursuing a career in law himself.



સરદાર વલ્લભભાઈ પટેલની 75મી પુણ્યતિથિના અવસરે, ડો. હિમાંશુ પટેલે સરદાર સાહેબના જન્મસ્થળની ભાવસભર મુલાકાત લીધી. આ મુલાકાત માત્ર એક ઔપચારિક કાર્યક્રમ નહોતી, પરંતુ એ હતી રાષ્ટ્ર નિર્માતા પ્રત્યેની કૃતજ્ઞતા, ઇતિહાસ પ્રત્યેનું નમન અને આગામી પેઢી માટેનો સંદેશ. સરદાર પટેલનું જન્મસ્થળ માત્ર એક ભૌતિક સ્થાન નથી…

આ તે ભૂમિ છે જ્યાંથી એક સામાન્ય ખેડૂત પરિવારનો દીકરો આગળ ચાલી ભારતના 562 રજવાડાઓને એક સૂત્રમાં ગૂંથનાર લોહપુરુષ બન્યો. આ ભૂમિએ શિસ્ત શીખવાડી, સત્યનો પાઠ આપ્યો, અને રાષ્ટ્ર માટે જીવન સમર્પણ કરવાની પ્રેરણા આપી. જન્મસ્થળની મુલાકાત દરમિયાન ડો. હિમાંશુ પટેલે સરદાર પટેલના જીવન, વિચારો અને કાર્યને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પી. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે: “સરદાર પટેલ માત્ર રાજકીય નેતા નહોતા, તેઓ ભારતની એકતાના પ્રતીક હતા. આજના સમયમાં પણ તેમના વિચારોથી જ મજબૂત, સંયુક્ત અને સુરક્ષિત ભારતનું નિર્માણ શક્ય છે.” ડો. હિમાંશુ પટેલે ખાસ કરીને યુવાનોને અપીલ કરી કે— સરદાર પટેલનું જીવન માત્ર પાઠ્યપુસ્તકોમાં નહીં, પરંતુ જીવનમાં ઉતારવાની જરૂર છે.
